About Us

# Who we are

A grassroots group of neighbors working for honest, common-sense leadership in Morris Township.

The Morris Township Republican Committee is the local arm of the Republican Party in Morris Township. Our members are elected by Republican voters in each of the Township’s election districts, and we recruit and support candidates for local office.

We’re engineers and attorneys, health-care workers and builders, longtime residents and newcomers. We don’t agree on everything, but we share a simple idea: Morris Township is at its best when its government is careful with money, honest with residents, and open to more than one point of view. If that sounds like you, we’d be glad to have you.

What We Believe

## Our guiding principles

### Live Within Our Means

Every Township dollar comes from a resident’s pocket. We want budgets that are reviewed, explained, and kept in check.

### Residents Come First

Decisions about our neighborhoods should be made with residents, not announced to them after the fact.

### Balance on the Committee

A five-member Township Committee with no one on the other side of the table is not good for anyone. Real debate makes better decisions.

### Service Over Politics

We measure success by what gets done for our neighbors, not by headlines or who takes the credit.

Our Leadership

## The volunteers who lead us
